Dear Adrianne,

The decision our country makes on November 3rd will carry irreversible consequences for the future of our beautiful planet and the lives of future generations.

In “Climate is on the Ballot this November,” we underscore stark differences between our presidential candidates on climate. So much is at stake. We need the upcoming presidential debates to highlight those significant differences. Yet the topics for next week's first debate do not include climate.

TELL THE MODERATOR OF THE FIRST PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE TO INCLUDE CLIMATE QUESTIONS

We are in a climate crisis, and only one candidate, Joe Biden, understands this. Only one candidate is committed to upholding environmental justice. Only one candidate is committed to protecting our land and water, creating millions of good union jobs in the new green economy, and ensuring climate champions have a seat at the table over the next four years.

TELL MODERATOR CHRIS WALLACE: ASK CLIMATE QUESTIONS AT THE FIRST DEBATE

In Solidarity,

Michelle Deatrick
