Yesterday, Joe Biden issued a statement on President Trump’s response to COVID-19. In his statement, Biden blasts the administration after White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows stunningly admitted that the administration “has given up on even trying to control this pandemic,” stating that “it’s long past time for President Trump and his administration to listen to scientists, take action, and finally take seriously the threat of a virus.”
Jill Biden will travel to Macon and Savannah, Georgia, to encourage voters to cast their ballots for the Biden-Harris ticket by voting in person during the last week of early voting in the state. Biden will headline a Georgia Women for Biden early vote event in Macon before traveling to Savannah for an early vote mobilization drive-in rally.
Doug Emhoff will travel to Winston-Salem and Boone, NC to encourage North Carolinians to vote early for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. In Winston-Salem and Boone, Emhoff will headline Biden for President North Carolina Early Voter Mobilization Events along with local leaders to urge attendees to cast their ballot during the state’s in-person early vote period, which lasts until October 31.
Yesterday, in a blistering op-ed, former Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker ripped apart Donald Trump’s core economic pitch to the American people stating that it is “completely divorced from reality” and likened it to a “football coach declaring victory after the third quarter only to then get blown out in the fourth quarter.” In her op-ed, Pritzker outlines the promises that Trump has yet to deliver on and asserts how Biden’s economic plan will help our country recover and create millions of good paying jobs.
