Global Presidential Primary 2024
Intro to the 2024 Global Presidential Primary
The Democrats Abroad Global Presidential Primary (GPP) will run from March 5 to March 12, 2024 at voting centers around the world to help select the next Democratic presidential candidate.
Democrats Abroad will send delegates to the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in August 2024 who reflect the results of our primary. These delegates are elected at our regional and global conventions next year.
Primary Voters must meet the following criteria to vote
Reside abroad and be a U.S. Citizen
Be a member of Democrats Abroad
Be 18 as of November 5, 2024
Not have voted, or plan to vote, in any other 2024 state presidential primary
Democrats Abroad allows same day registration for voters participating in the Global Presidential Primary
Voters may register in-person or by signing up at https://www.democratsabroad.org/join
Besides in person voting, voters abroad may also vote by downloading a ballot and emailing, faxing, or postal mailing it to Democrats Abroad from February 13, 2024 through March 12, 2024.
